It has been said, ‘time heals all wounds.’ I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone.
I believe that once trust is broken, no matter how much time you wait, it’ll never be fixed again. You can never fully trust him/her and there’s always that seed of doubt in your mind. It sucks, but I’ve come to find time really doesn’t heal all wounds.
